With the necessary reformulations of TAP, SITEMA – Union of Aviation Maintenance Technicians sought a partner that would give them a voice in the media, asserting their demands and concerns regarding the possibility of collective redundancies and salary reductions.
Strategy
BE Ideas identified the best senior resource with proven experience in communication for this specific project, which provided permanent monitoring during the period of 3 months, until the end of the agreement with the Portuguese Government.
Results
With a very frequent presence in the media, conveying the message of concerns, possible solutions and demands to the Portuguese Government in the media. The media actively responded to SITEMA's communications, giving prominence in the written press, TV, radio and online. With a very close partnership relationship during this period, it was possible for SITEMA to guarantee that there would be no dismissals of its associates.
