INTRODUCTION
BE Ideas developed a strategic communications consultancy, press relations and digital communications support project for TD SYNNEX Portugal, with the aim of strengthening its position as a benchmark in the information technology and associated services distribution market.
With a presence in Portugal for over 25 years, TD SYNNEX was looking to increase its media visibility and consolidate its communication with partners, decision-makers and stakeholders in the technology ecosystem.
CHALLENGE
As a leader in the information technology distribution market, TD SYNNEX Portugal faced the challenge of strengthening its institutional positioning and guaranteeing a consistent and relevant presence in the media.
At the same time, there was a need to use social networks as a strategic B2B communication channel, not only to disseminate corporate information, but also as a platform for proximity and enhancement of the partner ecosystem.
COMMUNICATION STRATEGY
The communication strategy developed by BE Ideas was based on an integrated approach of strategic B2B communication, press relations and editorial content management, aligned with TD SYNNEX Portugal’s positioning and awareness objectives.
The strategy was based on the definition of key messages and differentiating attributes for TD SYNNEX Portugal in the technology market, supported by a continuous approach to press relations focused on issues relevant to the sector. This included writing and disseminating press releases, promoting interviews, writing opinion articles and organizing meetings with the media, as well as identifying and developing strategic content on areas such as the IT distribution market, cloud and digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) and business sustainability.
This action was complemented by a consistent alignment between the editorial media strategy and social media communication, guaranteeing coherent messages and a regular presence, with a special focus on LinkedIn and Meta.
This approach has made it possible to position TD SYNNEX as a relevant and credible interlocutor in the technological ecosystem.
RESULTS ACHIEVED
The implementation of this communication strategy has helped to strengthen the visibility and awareness of TD SYNNEX Portugal and its associated brands in the media.
The results achieved translated into a significant increase in media presence in relevant media outlets in the areas of technology and economics, the consolidation of a continuous flow of communication, consistent and aligned with current events in the sector, and the strengthening of TD SYNNEX’s brand recognition among decision-makers, partners and other stakeholders.
At the same time, it was possible to establish close and trusting relationships with the media and the professional community on social networks, contributing to a more solid and credible presence in the market.
