CHALLENGE | COMMUNICATION CONSULTANCY, PRESS OFFICE AND SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

TD SYNNEX has been present in Portugal for over 25 years and as a market leader in the distribution and provision of services in the IT market, TD SYNNEX wanted to strengthen its position and increase its visibility in the media. The aim was also to use the social networks as a communication support not only with corporate information but also as a dissemination tool for its partners.

STRATEGY

To potentiate the main characteristics of TD SYNNEX Portugal in the market, with a strategy based on a bet on press relations. Promoting local and international events and news, with the drafting of press releases, promotion of interviews, drafting of opinion articles and meetings with the media, etc. The definition of contents had in mind themes such as the IT distribution market, Cloud, digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, IoT, business sustainability, etc. This base also served for TD SYNNEX’s social media communication strategy, with a very active presence on Facebook and Linkedin allowing to have a very close relationship with the different target audiences.

RESULTS

This communication strategy allowed TD SYNNEX and its brands to increase their visibility and presence in the media. With a continuous and efficient communication flow combined with a delivery of relevant contents to the media allowed TD SYNNEX to obtain very satisfactory results in brand recognition. As a result of this communication strategy, it was possible to establish a close and trustful relationship with the Media and in the different social networks.
